Dear daddo. sorry for answering too late. This photo is just a try to make a fine art one. I don`t know is it acceptable or not. but as a documentary photographer I tried to make it. This people are Azeri and they live in Ardebil province in northwest of Iran. As you said Shahsevan means "Those who love the Shah". Faced with the rebellious Qezelbash, who were themselves supposed to be the Imperial Guards, Sultan Mohammad’s son, Shah Abbas, united a number of tribes and gave the new, large and powerful tribe the name Shahsavan, which means the “Friends of the King.” This Shah has no relation with Shah Pahlavi who was the king of Iran before revolution.
