Hi Kristaps Thanks for your visit and comments but you make a great mistake! This is absolutely not cement building in the background but traditionnal rammed earth sky skyscrapers, very typical of Shibam Hadramaout, and very fragile, because each time there is a flood -and it happened quite recently- the constructions are in danger. You can see them closer Here (that(s my picture) and here (the picture is from dilane and shows well the fragility of the houses.) The most ancient houses are dated from the 16th century.
