| Hello Carlos, The word "try" is essential. In Finland there are numerous examples how the population of urban areas and especially industry has spoiled waters in many lakes that are much much bigger than this. Nowadays the things are in better control, but the sins of past time are not so easy to repair. In this particular case, what is good is that no houses are built right at the water front. There are trees hiding most of the houses and in this photo, one could think it is actually in a more deserted place. ;-) What is bad is the pollution of the lake. The reason is the sewage discharge between 1920 and 1980, when no sewer system was yet built there. Now they have a big work to improve the lake's condition. Thanks for commenting! Greetings, Lasse |
