The weather is warm generally - often up in the 30's. This can sometimes lead into thunderstorms which one has to take care of when hiking in the mountains. I'd say it's better to come here in spring or fall - so I would wait until September or October. The temperatures are better then and the woods show their powerful colors. Cheers ... Andreas.
