Hello Joanna, Thanks for your comments. About your questions: I was not at work during this journey in 1970. That was long, long before I became a journalist. I was a very young student longing to see the world. I was a complete amateur with very little knowledge of how to take pictures, and films were expensive, so I guess in five weeks in the Middle East I took maybe five rolls = 180 pictures. Something like that. I don't remember if these people noticed me, but I guess they did. The boy seems to be looking towards me, very indifferently.
