| Hello Igor, I can understand how Moscow might not have the preserved russian characteristics, like most capitals nowadays. This is hapenning to most capitals especially with globalization. I can believe this has its advantages and equally, its setbacks. What I don't appreciate for sure is observing coca cola or the huge M sign next to real architecture which says much about any city and was built carefully to communicate ideals of a community or culture. On another note, I did live in St. Petersburg for almost 7 months between 2006 and 2007. I know the city relatively well and still have few good friends I made along the way. cheers from montreal |
