If i'd have blurred the flowering bud, I would be adjusting the original image, I don't want to mess with it, so have left it - I like to try and get a good shot in the first place. Worth considering though, thanks very much for your tips. I'll think about it next time I take a similar shot, and try and get everything in focus I want to be in focus.
