| Hi Peter, I guess that comes from my training in school. We were always taught to publish the good as well as the bad, so we, and others could learn from our experience. I remember once I was part of a team working on one experiment, worth probably 30-40 percent of our term, and it bombed, and bombed bad. We still got through by publishing full results, with a complete analysis of course, and theory on how to improve. We probably learned more in that one than many of our successes. So we learn, and move on, and if we can help others along the way, no sweat. Of course, if I hadn't published this shot, you wouldn't have heard about it, and there are a lot of shots I won't be publishing... Cheers, John |
