Hi Dietrich :-) yes, the beercan was the reason why I bought the Sony Alpha :-) I just couldn't stand this marvellous lens being inactive for the rest of its life. Have you bought a tripod yet? I was wondering which one would be the best to hold its weight. As I have a 10-20 mm Sigma lens now, I want to try my skills in night photography.
