Hi Didi,
I figured with your last name that you either had Middle Eastern or Turkish ancestery. I think that our roots are always interesting. My sister gave me a DNA kit to see if we have some Native American bloodline in out family tree somwwhere. I will be posting a small shrine that the Turkish Americans erected of Ataturk at the Rochester Turkish Center. This is a delicate issue due to the tumultuous history of Turkey and the Balkans. I will have to be very careful what I say about Ataturk. He was no doubt one of the most influentual political legends of all time. I won't even go near the alleged Armenian massacre by the Turks earlier in the 20th Century. As the old saying goes; "It is better to let sleeping dogs lie (sleep)". Thanks again for your critique and comments.
