you know how i polished my tagalog, Bai?..well, my first job was as an industrial RN for a Pinoy company based in Dharhan, at ang ang mga trabahadores (manggagawa, actaully) from the boss down to the dyani at pinoy..and so the mother tongue is tagalog. just like you i was not that good at it, baluktod so to say. (i hate pilipino subjects while in HS, i preferred chemistry and math then) but everyday dealing with these people paved the way! gaya dito sa TE natuto rin ako kahit papaano- same story. i dunno, i just wanted to comment/critic your work in our language once in a while, i always take pride i am one pinoy inspite of my holding a blue (eagle) passport..he..he..he. actually dual ang citizen ni ako. yong 2 kong colleagues dito, one from Bohol and the other from Cebu, magaling pang mag-ingles kaysa sa mag-tagalog. mom and dad don't speak any, btw. regarding your comment about our government building regulations, that would be a miracle if ever successfully implemented! alam mo naman sa atin..and I don't have to expound, right? maganda ang Banaue and the whole of Ifugao for that matter...sana the people would continue building houses patterned after the orig ifugao thatch abode....maraming turistang dadayo, no doubt! ingat at see you around, benedict			PhilippinesPhilippines foggy banaue 1 Benedict (7062)
