merhaba emre thank you for your kind critique. yes, fes is a very fascinating place to visit. at some point in time, the city was the capital of morocco so there is a strong "imperial" feel to it. at least to some places in the city. as to the fortifications: it's interesting to see that the city itself largely dwells in a vally while fortifications are placed on the hills surrounding the city. the fortifications can be reached either by foot (could take quite some time depending on where you are staying) or easily by car. best regards, kristaps			MoroccoMorocco Past and Present zmey (7250) *
