| As always, thanks for your kind comments Alvin. Underexposure is not necessary to see the green flash but I think it helps when trying to photograph it as any over exposure will burn out the green and so is best avoided. Underexposed helped here because the focal length of the lens I used was not enough to make the flash big enough to stand out in the frame but helped ensure what green of the flash there was, remained green and clearly visible despite its size relative to the rest of the image. It can be seen with the naked eye (just don't blink) and is very prominent when seen that way. My guess is that I captured the flash just as it was losing its intensity as it is very distinct sight to the naked eye. Best Regards Robin |
