Well, first i thank you for your great critique and i went to get some answers specially for thr first question you made.

The timber beam at the bows is part of the boat equipment and does not stay in the mooring when the boat departs, it goes with the boat and slides throught the water or sometimes it is raised a little bit from the water staying suspended in the air.

About the bridge, itīs Luis I Bridge, very old with two trays and the superior tray is at the present time in restauration, well, the whole bridge is at restauration thatīs why they covered it up with metal, more than it had at the original view!
