... for your friendly & enthusiastic input. Glad to hear the link helped... I found it recently and this is actually my first try. I'm not very experienced with macro, but the lens is FANTASTIC! My poor photographic skills are fully responsible for the lack of sharpness: DOF is very shallow in macro mode, I should have used a tripod and made sure the lens is fully perpendicular.
