Surprisingly, the art shop was a rare sight in VN. Hang Trong street is on the way to the Dong Xuan market. The street changes it's name about 5 times! Starting at the Hoan Kiem lake, Hang Dao > Hang Ngang > Hang Duong > Dong Xuan > Hang Giay. Pho Hang Trong is near the north western part of the lake behind the Post Office, so maybe the shop has moved since 2001? The Old 1/4 is a fascinating area. Don't miss the water puppets near the martyrs monument. One of the highights of VN, imho. Ha Long Bay & Ninh Binh are good weekend or 2 day trips from Ha Noi. Enjoy!
