Hi Kath,thank you for your critique and yes,tripos and closed aperture domake a diference. A while back I would have just shot it with whatever aperture the meter would give me for 1/60 speed in my hand but after having had a lot of poor quality prints and scans I have realised that for landscape if I don't have a tripod I won't even bother shooting because the result will just make me upset.
