HI Jez First of all let me thank you for your kind and informative critique on my photo .... it is always critiques like yours that make my participation on TE worthwhile. Your critique made me thinking from another perspective, so I really appreciated your time. To tell you why I chopped the head of the girl sittig in the center .... it was just because I thought that she would have got too much of attention that might would have changed the focus of the photo from the kids lying on the ground with thier hands stretched towards her .... another reason that I can think of is that I wanted the identity of the westerner in the center to be mysterious ... I did'nt wanted to give her identity (just to create some mystery). BTW you can also visit the blog to know more about what else was happening at that place. the kids were just playing some game and the girl in the center was co-ordinating ... just to mention that kids were not worshipping the westerner. ....
