I enjoyed reading your thoughts about this. You're more or less describing how I felt and the reason for taking the photo in the first place. But...I didn't say that in my editor's note. I should have. Instead I kept a laconic objective view on things, except for my "Vandals" title. So, maybe "Bus Stop" could have been a better title and thus leave the subjective pondering to the beholder behind the camera and in front of the computer? Anyway, thanks for sharpening my senses, and believe it or not, it's happened another two times since I did the shot...and the bus company patiently puts up a new glass pane every time.
