Hi Nicol: Thanks for your patience to follow up my serial. You surprised me when you went that far into the theme. The author of that picture is Yuval Naaman, from Israel. In November 2005, he contacted me asking for directions on how to come to Yuanyang. When he arrived, he shot more successful photos than me. He also explored to the area beyond Yuanyang, and became friend of the only English teacher in town. The teacher took him to the class and the school-girls kissed him to show respect to a real trekker. The teacher also gave him a photo-book with pictures of Yuanyang by Chinese photographers.
