| The roads in Archangelsk regions are terrible, especially in summer. We were nearby in Karelia recenly and were thinking about going to Kargopol but we didn't dare. It would take ages to drive 90 km. To get there, one needs a Land Rover or better a tank. The summer is short but there are white nights there meaning that it's not really dark at nights. |
