| Bente, Thanks for your comment and the information on the Dragonfly. I am also surprised at the speed of 1/30. This was not a typo as it was given by the camera automatically via the EXIF data. In my memory I made different shots in the range of 1/180 - 1/640 ?! So it is a bit funny that I see 1/30. If this would really have been the case I think the sharpness would have been much less. I checked the EXIF data and it says 1/400. This is in the range where I thought it should be. COncerning DOF you are absolutely right, this one should have a greater DOF. Your remark on sharpness may be due to the lens as it is a tele lens. On the other hand I see the hairs on the legs in good detail. Maybe a good macro lens would help;-) I also appreciate your tips on the macro shooting. For me these are the first steps at macro/nature shooting and I love to learn from the more experienced TE members. Thanks for your reply I learned from it.
