Thanks for your welcome back. I have been mainly posting on the TL site where a lot of creativity is allowed in post processing and i am enjoying 'messing around with photos'. Today though I took a peek at TE and decided to post something. So it was nice to get some responses.
I laughed when I read that you didn't think my excuse was too good, but I have a couple more 1) there was very deep snow between where I was and the base of the steps they were really not very accessible, and 2) I am far too old to be climbing around mountains these days...my knees can hardly take a regular stair case never mind a huge one like this...LOL!
So now I will look to see if I can find a photo that shows the impressive height of the falls which I have not already posted on TL... maybe I can find one and post it. I will try.
You are right about the Niagara Falls Rinie, the Canadian side is much easier to view and I think more spectacular.
We are doing a European tour in May and then I hope to have lots of photos of Europe to post.
