What you say makes sense though I'm pretty certain the Nikon's basic lens was extended as well, though I don't know how far. I might have been able to get this shot without the teleconverter. I need to experiment with it so I understand what results I'll get in various circumstances. As I said in my note, I'm rather happy with the way it looks in this image, as though the lens is concentrating as hard as these men are. My friend has a very nice setup with this camera. He has a wide-angle lens and a remote shutter control as well. I don't have either of those things in my possession, but I think I'll ask for them so I can have the full experience of using this camera. I'm pretty happy with it at the moment.
