Hi Maja, Thanks for your note, apparently there are two Holocaust memorials. I looked up the photo that you referred to and I didn't see this work of art when I was there either. I accidentally noticed this memorial that I photographed; we were walking toward the Parliament along the Danube when I saw it. There is no plaque or any inscription of any sort but I figured it out because the shoes were all black and facing the river. I looked it up when I got home and was chilled to discover why this memorial was posted (the murder of so many Jews on the shores of the Danube).
