Hi Callie, thanks for your critique.

I just have a small comment: The reason I didn't or crop tighter on the climber was, as you pointed out, that DOF is a bit too shallow, so he isn't totally sharp. He looks sharper like this simply because he's smaller. It's a compromise. I think there's also an element of motion blur here adding to the unsharpness, it's very clear if you look at the feet.

Another reason I chose not to crop tighter is that I have another photo from just a few seconds earlier that is a lot closer (just click the location link to Kjugekull) and I wanted to have some variation.

I just got my f/1.8-lens so I'm still experimenting, I realize I have to be a bit more careful with focus now than with my f/4 lens.
