I think you're right about the oversharpening. Part of the problem comes from the fact that this image has so much detail--all those leaves and petals. This makes it really hard to get it under the 200 kB limit without badly degrading image quality. (I had to use 3 on the 1-to-12 quality scale for saving as a jpeg.) At 200 kB the image would have looked unsharp without the extra sharpening. Probably I should have reduced the sharpening on the couple where it was less necessary.
