To cherryripe: Candy vs. Lolly :)joeydrops::2005-12-09 9:50
Hi Nikki,
Thankyou for your kind comments :)
I'm not quite sure why they call it the candy kitchen instead of lolly kitchen, but I looked up the words "candy" and "lolly" in the dictionary to see if there is a distinct difference between them.
Candy is defined as "a rich sweet confection made with sugar and often flavored or combined with fruits or nuts", whereas lolly refers to "a piece of candy, especially hard candy", so I guess maybe candy covers the whole lot, whereas lolly is just one thing. Maybe that's why they call it Candy Kitchen, but I'm honestly not too sure. I'll find out next time I go there :)))
Kind regards,
Claudia
