Hi Francine, Thanks for your comments. There are a few tours available to North Korea out of Beijing, but only when North Korea wants to let them in. I read in the papers here a few weeks ago that North Korea had decided to admit no tourists for the next few months - but no reason was given. When they do let tourists in, it is on a strictly controlled itinerary - you don't get any choice about where you are taken. Cheers . . .
