Hi David, Thank you very much for your advice using NeatImage. I hadn't realised it could be used selectively like that....otherwise I would have done exactly as you advised - and only removed the noise from the sky. I wanted to keep the detail in the sea and she beach. That's a lesson learned, and for that I thank you. Thanks again for your nice words.
