Actually, there's parts of Havana where you don't have to wait at all, it's just the norm. What surprised on my first trip, was how the prevailing cars in the street varied so much between different districts. Vedado, lots of new cabs for tourists, Miramar, lots of new cars from the many diplomatic missions, Centro and Old Havana, mainly locally owned private cars, which are still mainly like the ones in the shot.
