| I haven't been back on for a few days, but just had a look at the photo you linked. Where I'm from back in Missouri, US, they've done similar work with some abandoned railways, which now form the Katy Trail. It runs for several hundred miles across the state, near the Missouri river and is widely enjoyed. A brilliant idea. Here though, in Memphis, the city is actually quite poor. As much as I would hope they will someday do the same with these abandoned rails, it will probably take a long time to have the funds to do it. Thanks very much for your comments! |
