| I quite like reading the comments that people provide, even if I don't respond to all of them I do find them interesting. I am a little curious as to how you came to the conclusion that you did - not that there is anything wrong with it - just that it doesn't match up with the composition of the scene. The buildings on the left (Canary Wharf) are mirrored glass buildings which reflect the setting sun each evening, which is why they are reflecting the colour of the sky. However, the buildings on the right (and most of the foreground) are in shadow - ie there is no sunlight falling on them - and hence the reason that they are monotone in colour (there was a little shadow/highlight applied to lighten up the shadows in these areas). I appreciate your comment that the image is perhaps a little unbalanced and may be improved by desaturating the left hand side buildings a little which I will give a try when I have some time.
