Hi david, your friend is right. berlin has not architectural harmony. thera are many many many modern buildings, signed by important architects (italian, japanese, american...), many many many avenieristic solutions, many stunning skyscrapers... i generally like modern towns, but i cannot certainly say that i like berlin. there is too confusion in the berliner architecture, so you feel disoriented walking through the city. c'est la vie! ;) see you soon on TE! ciao.
