Hello Cristina Thanks for the comments and the congrats. I hadn't realized it was 200 until after I put it up. I had meant to put a re-post but that can wait. "The Haunting of Hill House" was actually the first thing that came to my mind, also. That is in film form but as "The Haunting" from 1963. It was done very well and it's much better than "House on Haunted Hill". But the other title fit the image better. So you should take a look at "The Haunting" if you liked the book.
