I agree that the picture is a little static without anything alive in it, but unless I arranged something that was what was there in front of me. There wasn't a different angle or anything that might have brouht in a plant or a foot or, as Animesh suggested, a cat. Still, I liked the texture and colour a lot, so I'm not unhappy with it. Yes and the light too! Thanks for your comments on the note -- I did a fair bit of research for that one (I already knew about the neighbourhood, but I had to find the right links!).
