Hi everyone.
I’m Yannis, 31 years old, live next to Carcassonne (south of France).
Traveling (even at home) and taking photographs… two passions we share on TE.
“Learning about the world through photography”… a leitmotiv that attracted me.
The pictures posted here, beyond their artistic interest, allow to travel (without moving of his chair) and discover other landscapes, cities, people. Moreover if they’re documented by instructive notes.
As for me, I started to travel young, in family, most of all in the south of Europe (Italy, Espana, Portugal, south of France). Recently, thanks to the setting-up of a low-coast air company in Carcassonne, I could re-discover England (London and Liverpool).
The last “big” travel I did was a road trip in Western Africa (Morocco, Mauritania, Mali and Burkina-Faso).

My first reflex camera was a Minolta X-GM, given for my 18th birthday.
I went to the digital photography in 2007, with a compact and I bought my first digital reflex at the end of 2008 : a Pentax K200.
I kept my silver cameras ‘cause I like the handcrafted side of the laboratory (there is one in the photo-club where I am).
