A simple crop in IrfanView. I thought it would increase the 'drama' of the curve. I also reduced the blue channel a little.

Thanh - just a quick workshop to show you my thoughts.

1. I cropped the top of the photo to try to show the terraces as continuous.
2. I increased colour and contrast by a small amount.
3. Sharpened as much as I could. I really wanted to get some detail in the rice - difficult!
4. Re-added a thin frame.

I'm not sure if this really works - maybe it's lost some depth and perspective. What do you think?

1. Cropped away the top of the photo.
2. Added a frame to 'contain' the pattern.
3. Added a colour for fun.

1. Cropped to try to accentuate the height of the waterfall.
2. Increased contrast to reduce haze.
3. Reduced blue channel to reduce blue cast.
4. Added frame because I wanted to!

First, I straightened the horizon by rotating CW 3 degrees.
Next, I cropped the photo to reduce the dark foliage in the bottomright corner, and also to de-centralise the boat.
Finally I increased contrast, increased saturation and sharpened a bit.

I wanted to crop away the bridge in the bottom right corner, and I also wanted to place more emphasis on the houses themselves.

I increased contrast and colour and sharpened in IrfanView.

I wanted to reduce the white sky and focus on the bottom part of the photo. I also wanted to boost the colours a bit.

In IrfanView:-

1. Cropped the top of the photo.
2. Boosted colour saturation by 170%, reduced red channel by 10%
3. Increased contrast by 10%
4. Increased gamma by 5%
5. Sharpened.

I wanted to enhance the colours a little and try to sharpen the image a bit.
I increased gamma and contrast, then enhanced colours. Finally, I added a frame.

The aim was to make the mountains more distinct.

I simply cropped a bit from the bottom, increased contrast and added a frame.

1. I cropped to remove 'empty' space and remove the black frame which doesn't really contribute here (for me).
2. Increased saturation to make the lights glow more.
3. Increased contrast to darken the sky and emphasize the reflections.
