split out on two layer, one for contrast of the lady lighter and one for the background contrast darker.
if you find the face too red, you can reduce sat with replace color

straighten horizont... and played around with contrast with levels and coloradjustments and sharpness

1- Filtered the picture with NeatImage to lower the grain.
2- Ajusted the color with Picasa and applyed a graduated filter.
3- Final filter with NeatImage.
