| Intro: | Hi All, I was very excited to stumble across the TE site. Firstly, i am truly blown away by the thousands of photos posted here, and honestly, I was not sure if i would be out of my league here on TE. However, being very new to the art of photography, i hope to learn & expand not only my knowledge, but my appreciation of people, places and attention to detail. I have had an SLR camera (Minolta 404si) for several years, and have just purchased a Digital SLR (Canon EOS 20D). I'm still learning my way around the new camera, and I hope to have some photos to upload soon. I was fortunate enough to travel around the world for 11 weeks in Dec 05 - Feb 06. It was a very brief but amazing trip, which has further opened my eyes to photography and the endless possibilities to capture and create. Finally, i appreciate all of your comments and criticisms in advance. I'm here to learn, so any tips, hints or suggestions will be very much appreciated. Take care, Vicki | |
