Personally I feel this is one of my strongest images. I have sold nearly 20 copies of this shot. I thought that I would try it BW so I converted it with Hue Sta, made selective levels adjusments, contrast, lots of dodging and burning, sharpeness, diffusion and a slight colour cast via Hue Sat again, I also added a slight vignette via Brightness/contrast all in CS3.

Let me know how it can be improved because I really want to nail this one in BW.

Hi Ann,

Well, it's all about personal taste, but I thought I'd offer you a workshop on your first image. First I cropped the image, then I broke the image into horizontal thirds and adjusted the levels. I sharpened the foreground a little then tweaked the colour to give it more of the desert warmth. Anyway, take it or leave and welcome to TE!
