I thought the street line slanted a bit to the right. Thus in a workshop I simply tilted it slightly to make the alignment straight. I also changed slightly the border to help enhance the look by adding white to accent the white of the house. I used IrFan View which is a free photo editor downloadable online.

Here is a blow by blow of my Photoshop CS work on this:
1. Shadow/Highlight: boosted Shadow 50% (that is a great deal I was surprised what was there).
2. Levels: I pulled the green channel in a bit
3. Hue/Saturation: Boosted Saturation 30
4. Unsharpen Mask Filter (125% - 0.8 - 9)
