Intro: I was born in Colombia, South America but currently reside in Washington D.C. I bumped into Trek Earth by mistake one day while doing research on Digital SLR Cameras. I just recently(August 2008) started delving into digital photography. Mostly inspired by a trip I made to Lebanon and Jordan.

As an amateur I still have a way to go and Trek Earth proves to be a great resource to speed up the learning experience.

(Quick update. I have been out of comission for a while because ive had various misfortunes in the last few months. I was supposed to travel to Egypt in August, and then to Syria, Lebanon and Spain in September. And all trips I had to cancel due to personal reasons. To add to this, I lost my Nikon SLR due to a freak accident! So I am awaiting to purchase a new Nikon and will start photographing away as soon as I get the camera. I definitely miss TE and its community!)
