i liked the dreamy mood of the photograph.

stil i was disturbed by the lack of focus. on of the ways i use in such case is to make photo even more blurry. then it looks like flooded with light. i used this technique on the upper part of a picture.

then i used a skew transform on the left upper and lower corner where the columns can be seen.

cropping bottom part, adding sky and 'clouds' to upper one.

stretching the part from the middle of the valley's mist and the mountain top to make it higher.

desaturation, cyrves 'glowing' mask, noise. white canvas.

artificial but someone might like it.

first i have neutralise colours, which are nice, but i thought it might be good to make look the photo look old.

the i have removed the bench in the lower left corner, cropped picture and rotee it to match perpendicular

hen what was most important - levels of light.

added monochromatic noise, canvas. and voila

to much sky - flattens image. also it is better to resize image if the quality of compression makes picture noisy

colour tone into greyed area of water. then levels. some radial blur with center in birds corner. everything to distinguish it from background and make motion more visible.

levels, some parts lighten, some darken, made B&W then blue filter, last: cropping :)

i dont know why, but france i always remebered by myself n those blue-gray colours. but these are happy memories :)

i thought it could be good to bring ducklings out of the water. their colour was ame as water's so i changed some colour levels and enchanced colours contrasts.

however i believe it still need some touch - it might be too dark now. but anyway.

it was really worth bread crumbs :)

the problem with your photo, for me is the lack of focus.
in user suggestions i have found the one about cropping. now it is really more lively, thanks, little less noisy, and now it is easier to focus on the main flower.

so. first i have done cropping. then colour encancement. i have done it by the light levels. then i have used a selector tool to select red flowers which is the most significant part of a picture. then by inverting the selection i had bacground for my own. radial blur with zoom option was used. finally frame. and little resize of a picture to make it smaller. then the less of focus is not so visible :)
