Rotated, cropped, slight adjustment to levels - whitepoint, and added a little saturation. Hope you like it.

Using photoshop I used autolevels to correct the ratio of black and white to grey. I cropped out the cars and where a bit of a car roof remained I used the cloning tool from another snowmound. (Lower left corner) Then saved for web.

- I tried to light up the flower (lasso + increase light 10%)
- I reframed it
- I cleaned left bottom corner with stamp tool

it's still strange with the hidden face - the landscape and the people are as if in two different pictures. Anyway, I levelled the horizon, went for B&W (because there was nothing much in the colouring), cropped it down somewhat, adjusted the contrast, and sharpened. At least, the tower is stronger now. Hope you like it!

cropped from the left and top to get rid of the log on the ground and to keep 'end of tunnel' in 1/3
contrast boosted up. lighting a little down. saturation up. unsharp mask 2/50/8.
Haven't done a lot of workshops. I hope this is indeed an improvent of the original shot :)

My feeling on this one is that it needs to have the perspective adjusted. Everything seems to be leaning in (based on where you were standing when you took the picture). (It also needs sharpening.)

It would be a lot better if you had captured the tip of the tower. I'm starting to learn (from this forum) that it might be best to 'overshoot', to shoot larger than the final desired frame and to crop down afterwords.

Better to throw away a few pixels than to not get home with the whole 'thing'.

Really interesting picture. I cropped away the light brown area on the right, didn't think it added to the picture. Played with the contrast a little and sharpened. This is a great capture, bold lizard peering out from his shelter and obviously well defended.

I've tightened up on the main subjects. Auto Level and sharpening brings a bit more 'snap' to this picture in my opinion.

I really like this picture. The way the people on the left are checking out the merchandise is great.

This picture says "Travel" to me as opposed to those abstract shots that happened to be taken while away from home.
