Intro: Hi everybody!
I am university teacher.
Found TE site quite occasionally but fell in love with it. Let me summarize the reason through the conclusions, my students did about the site, while working over homework about group communications:
"...- The host /Adam/ has created a very qualitative place /a real oasis IMO!/ for people sharing an intelligent hobby
- The site is hosted efficiently, has common rules, giving enough space to its members for their hobby, and keep them in a certain frame of positive behaviour
- The climate is positive: all members are interacting in a friendly manner and share their different levels of knowledge about photography with enthusiasm. Those who are more experienced are allways ready to help to the new ones. Forums help members to exchange oppinions or information, as well as to ask questions. This way the communication processes are kept open. It helps for the effective conflict management too.
- As in every big community of people, there are forming subgroups, but because of the site rules, they are not contradicting or working against the whole community. It helps to maintain the atmosphere positive..."

I met a lot of wonderful people here, on TE.
I saw a lot of wonderful people leave TE.
People meet and part in their paths but the most important thing for every one of us is to keep learning...and share everything good we have learnt with the others.
