Well, at a first moment I used the edit->transform->skew tool to correct the perspective. Then I used the denhancer tool to change a bit the colour (hot) and put the details more aparent.

Using Adobe PhotoShop (Elements 2) it is easy to alter building perspective distortion.
Use the Transform/skew tool and just drag out the edges of the image until the buildings are straight.
I've also used the clone tool to remove some of the distracting cables cutting across the image.

First I selected the squirrel and the tree. I inversed the selection and reduced the brightness behind the squirrel. I reversed the selection and increased the contrast on the squirrel. I selcted the patches between the branches of the tree and decreased the brightness. It was done rather fast and it could be done much better, but I didn't have the time.

I selected the sky then inversed the selection and applied a USM of 20,50,0 - hope you like it :)

In Photoshop:
1) Saturation : +10
2) Unsharp mask:
amount 193%
radius 0.3 pixels
threshold 0 levels
3) Gradient tool to add a blu sky but this last processing was just for fun ;-)
