(587) [2004-04-23 15:55:33] [2] | | I adjusted levels to use more of the dynamic range. Increased saturation to bring out the nice colors better and finally sharpened with unsharp mask. |

(587) [2004-04-18 18:01:37] [2] | I cropped it to better focus on the cloud, played a bit with saturation and levels and ran it through neat image to remove some noise.
I also took the liberty of cloning out the wires. |

This WS is just a fun play with the mind. |

(587) [2004-04-01 13:27:08] [2] | | I just did autolevels to balance the colors. I then added a little bit more yellow to give some extra warmth. Lastly I sharpened. |

(587) [2004-02-24 17:35:39] [1] | I used the best sharpening method I know, first scale up the picture alot, I used a fractal method (Genuine fractal) to do this for the best result. Then I sharpen the picture ALOT, I did it in 3 steps using different radiuses. Finally I scale it down to size again in many small steps.
This method can really do wonders, especially if you take your time and experiment a bit. |

(587) [2004-02-24 17:19:23] [3] | I only adjusted levels to use the whole dynamic range and also added a tiny bit of sharpening.

(587) [2004-02-23 15:25:09] [6] | 1. I adjusted levels as conservatively as I felt I could, in order to use the whole dynamic range but at the same time keep some of the bleakness.
2. Unsharp mask 100%

(587) [2004-02-20 14:58:23] [1] | I used unsharp mask with a high radius (20 or 30) to remove some haze. Didn't want to affect the nice foreground so I did it in a separate layer and used a gradient to mask that out.
Then I adjusted curves to get more contrast in the bright colors. Again doing the layer/gradient mask trick to leave the foreground as it was.
Lastly I changed color balance a tiny bit towards the blue. |
