I live in Stockholm, Sweden. Educated in computer science. I spend my spare time up rock walls (climbing) or singing in a choire.
The joy of a digital camera can not be denied. Previously as an amateur with limited assets you had to think of the cost of every picture. The cost of film and the cost and chore of developing it. With a digital camera this is totally gone and you can snap away to your hearts content. I think this will mean alot for amateur photography from now on.
I bought my first digital camera, a Nikon Coolpix 3100, about a year ago and I have taken over 2000 pictures with it since then. This is probably not extreme with a Digital camera but compared to a film camera it is ALOT. My small Coolpix is a very nice camera but it has it's limitations obviously. It has given me many excellent photo moments and made me rediscover photography, but it has also served as an appetizer and has left a yearning for more. Today I took the step up and bought a digital SLR. I am now the proud and exited owner of a Nikon D70 and I am very much looking forward to exploring the possibilities of this camera and to share the result with you here.
