- Only too late did I understand why my father took so long watching through the viewfinder before taking a photo: composition. B&W ruled and you had to guess distance, aperture and shuter speed.
My first photos were taken on a Voigtlander, then I upgraded to a 35mm reflex (Asahi Pentax K1000) and recently went digital with Canon (pocket size 4MP PowerShot S45 & 8MP EOS 350D).
I still have problems with composition, go figure...
